LA, CA (2017 — Present)

 

Working as a UX/UI designer with companies on websites, mobile apps, decentralized apps, and streaming media experiences. Projects include a multi-national subscription service, online retail store, blockchain platform, and a media platform.

Accomplishments:

  • Provided UX/UI design of JamCity’s multi-national gaming subscription service.
  • Researched and designed multiple new concepts for CAA.

VP, Creative

SONY Pictures Television

Los Angeles, CA (2011 — 2017 )

 

Built and led the US Creative Center of Sony Pictures Television which supports all domestic television channels and digital products for Sony including Crackle, Sony Movie Channel, Cine Sony Television, Get TV, and the mobile games group. Led approximately 27 staff and temp employees in executing the company’s creative strategy across numerous disciplines including user experience, on-air promotions, visual design, print, digital, and social.

Accomplishments:

  • Led creative development of advertising, trailers, promos and key art for Crackle’s Original Productions including Legendary Film’s Dead Rising: Watchtower, Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Bryan Cranston’s SuperMansion, David Spade’s Joe Dirt 2, Dennis Quaid’s The Art of More, and Martin Freeman’s StartUp .
  • Developed and implemented plan to meet creative needs of Sony Television’s Mobile Games group in support of Jeopardy!, Sports Jeopardy!, and Wheel of Fortune games.
  • Selected to participate in Sony’s Innovation Program.
  • Directed the UX/UI design of the ‘Always On’ vision state currently being implemented across mobile, connected TVs, gaming consoles and streaming devices (up to 30 platforms including PS3/4, Xbox 360/One, Apple TV, iOS, Android, Amazon Fire, and Roku).

VP, Marketing & On-Air Promotions

FOX Cable Networks

Los Angeles, CA (2003 — 2010)

As part of the senior executive launch team, I guided the network’s branding, marketing and creative through seven years of successful growth. Drove the award winning creative and identity of FOX Cable’s Fuel TV, (now Fox Sports 2). Executed creative development of network shows’ graphic packages and oversaw the on–air promotions, advertising, and network branding spots for the network.

Accomplishments:

  • Spearheaded network’s conceptual development and execution of the Dew Underground, a multi-platform property for Mt. Dew/Pepsi, which included TV, online, print, radio, event, mobile, and podcast creative.
  • Collaborated to construct business–driving creative initiatives with partners including MySpace, Fox Sports, NBC Sports, Photobucket, IGN.com, Toyota, Pepsi, Nike, and Activision.
  • Led the creative development and execution of the network’s annual Upfront Presentations to ad sales clients in New York.

Redsquare Productions

Irvine, CA (2001 — 2003)

Creative directed projects in branding, advertising, product design, and video. Clients included DC Shoes, Ocean Pacific (OP and OP Classics), Osiris Shoes, and Fox Sports.

Accomplishments:

  • Produced 2 sponsored TV series that were telecast on Fox Sports Net.

Broadband Interactive Group

Irvine, CA (2000 — 2001)

Spearheaded the design for Bluetorch including print, web, broadcast, and interactive television. Led the creative development of new cross media content franchises.

Accomplishments:

  • Developed a multi–platform creative for ad clients including an award-winning project for Nissan Xterra.
  • Directed the successful design and simultaneous publication of 6 magazines on a monthly basis.
